1 hospitalized after East Delavan Avenue morning shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A male was struck by gunfire while outside on the 1400 block of East Delavan Avenue Thursday morning, Buffalo police officials said.

Police responded to the call just after 4 a.m. Officials said a 31-year-old male, of Buffalo, was transported by a civilian vehicle to ECMC where he was taken into surgery.

Buffalo police are investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call or text their confidential tip line at (716) 847-2255.
