Buffalo Groundhog Day 10th Anniversary Celebration

More than any other year, we should all be paying attention to Buffalo’s groundhog(s), Buffalo Mack and Buffalo Bert. After a wallop of a winter thus far, we’re all going to be anticipating an early spring arrival. That said, no matter the prediction, Buffalo wins when it comes to the annual Buffalo Groundhog Day celebration, which takes place at Flying Bison Brewery. Why? Because proceeds from the event are dedicated to local animal organizations. In fact, in the ten years that this event has been held, over $30,000 has been raised for organizations that include the Buffalo Zoo, Buffalo C.A.R.E.S. animal rescue, and Hawk Creek Wildlife Center.

On Saturday, January 28, the non-profit Buffalo Groundhog Day Society invites you to come celebrate Buffalo Groundhog Day – an event that is a heck of a lot of fun, informational, and truly a good cause.

“The party starts at noon and runs until about 6pm. Tickets are $25 presale and $30 day of event. Each ticket includes two Flying Bison beers of your choice, access to the heated tent where there will be live music, merchandise and food available to purchase. As always, our favorite prognosticators Buffalo Mack and Buffalo Bert will be making their Winter Weather prediction at 2:30pm!”
