Cross in the Park 2022

Adventurist-cyclists, the largest cyclocross race in the region is coming up at Delaware Park on Sunday, September 18.

Cyclocross is one of those events that is almost as fun for spectators as it is for the riders. There are a lot of reasons for this, including the excitement of the race, and the idyllic park setting. This particular race has been underway for 12 years! It’s a family-friendly event that everyone looks forward to.

Cyclocross is a fun spectator friendly form of bike racing that takes participants over a variety of surfaces in a fully taped off circuit for up to an hour.

Per usual, the race is being presented by Campus Cycling Collective Inc. The online registration deadline is Friday, September 16 at 11:59 PM. That means that there’s still plenty of time to enroll, whether interested in the juniors, different Cats, single speed, kids 9 and under, masters 40+ to 60+… just click here to see all of the different race options.

Races start at 10am and continue until 5:30pm. The location of the race course is in the Hoyt Lake part of Delaware Park and in the Rumsey Woods. Come out to watch the racers, bring your kids for the free kids race, or come out and try it for yourself. Registration is located online at www.bikereg.com/cross-in-the-park.
