Lockport to hold first pride celebration in city’s history

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Lockport has announced their first ever LGBTQ+ Pride celebration to be held Saturday, June 22.

The festival will run from 1-5 p.m. at the Kenan Center and will feature over 50 vendors, food trucks, performances, and family-friendly activities. A drag performance will be held right after from 6-7 p.m. at the Kenan’s Taylor Theater.

The festival is free to attend. Additionally, a free drop/hop-on service will be provided by Discover Niagara Shuttle. Tickets for the drag performance can be purchased here.

The city’s first Juneteenth celebration will also be held Saturday starting at 11 a.m.
