Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash in Lockport

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a crash on Johnson Road in Lockport on Sunday, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.

Police responded to the area of 4086 Johnson Rd. just before 8 p.m. Sunday, where initial investigation showed that the motorcyclist, a 24-year-old Lockport man, lost control while traveling southbound, went off the road and hit a tree. He was ejected and ended up in a field.

The man was transported to Lockport Memorial Hospital and then was airlifted to ECMC, where he is listed in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
