It’s hard to believe that Napoleon Dynamite was made almost 20 years ago. Considered one of the most quoted films of its generation, Napoleon Dynamite is as relevant today as it was when it was first released. Even now, the timeless comedy has garnered an entirely new fan base, thanks to its brilliant line-up of actors/characters, including Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Efren Ramirez (Pedro), and Jon Gries (Uncle Rico).
Now, these aforementioned actors are hitting the road, visiting a slew of cities and delivering upon their famed antics.
On Thursday, April 13 (7:30pm), Heder, Ramirez, and Gries will be making an appearance at University at Buffalo’s Center for the Arts. If you’ve ever thought about what it would be like to be in Napoleon Dynamite’s shoes, or Pedro’s or Uncle Rico’s for that matter, this is your chance.
The event includes a screening of the film, along with an outlandish conversation with three of the most memorable cast members/characters that ever came together to grace the big screen.
Pack some tots in your zippered cargo sweatpants, wear a “Vote for Pedro” shirt, and practice your most impressive drawing of a liger. Prepping for this unusual outing will be half the fun!
