The Big Auction of Small Works Is Back

Buffalo Arts Studio’s Live on Five Auction and Fundraiser Makes the Work of Western New York Artists Accessible to All

Whether you support local art or love the thrill of outbidding others, Buffalo Arts Studio is set to host its annual Live on Five auction and fundraiser on March 11 at the Tri-Main Center, 2495 Main Street, Suite 500.

With over 500 original 5″ x 5″ artworks on display, Live on Five invites the community to take part in collecting works by Western New York’s most coveted artists. Starting at $25, folks can comb through works of over 200 participating artists using Live on Five’s mobile auction platform.

To start that decision-making process early, Buffalo Arts Studio has installed all works in their galleries to allow folks the chance for in-person viewing before bidding goes live on March 9. To take part in Live on Five, event goers can purchase an online bidding only ticket or attend the closing party and reception on March 11 by purchasing a general admission or VIP ticket.

“Buffalo Arts Studio is known for hosting great parties,” said Executive Director, Alma Carrillo. “We are thrilled to bring hundreds of artists and their work into Buffalo Arts Studio for this live event. It is so exciting to meet artists alongside their work and then to add that artwork to your collection!”

Buffalo Arts Studio was established in 1991 to provide affordable studio space and impactful exposure for visual artists while also offering arts education and meaningful arts access for the entire community. Located on Buffalo’s east side, Buffalo Arts Studio has enriched a previously underserved area through dynamic and engaging arts programming, educational opportunities, and community events.
