GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Grand Island company is expanding and adding up to one hundred new jobs.
Thermo Fisher Scientific is announcing a $76 million expansion project. The biotechnology company is adding 45,000 square feet to its facility on the island.
It says the expansion will add production capacity for critical materials used in developing new and existing vaccines including the COVID-19 vaccine.
