BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo police responded to a call at Lafayette High School on Tuesday morning, where one person was arrested following an alleged stabbing.
Police and school resource officers responded to a call about a fight just after 8 a.m., leading to a heavy presence of officers around the school. They say two males were involved in a dispute outside the school where one allegedly stabbed the other.
One person sustained a slashing injury, while the other was taken to ECMC by ambulance to be treated for what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Police did not reveal if the two were students, and no charges were specified.
