Buffalo is the land of holiday marketplaces. This means that there are lots of options out there to shop local, and to support artists and artisans. It’s also nice because each of the marketplaces offers totally unique shopping experiences.
The Holiday Marketplace at the WNY Book Arts Center Collaborative (WNYBAC) is a great example of a holiday market that showcases all of the wonderful artisan crafts at the Book Arts Center, as well as various other unique, quality handmade goods. Artisan gifts and wares include items such as housewares, knitwear, jewelry, and hand-printed greeting cards and posters.
The 2022 Last Minute Panic holiday marketplace features works from over 20 artists and makers, on two floors. It’s a chance to support WNY artists and artisans, while sourcing some fantastic one-of-a-kind gifts for the holidays.
The Book Arts Shop will also be open during the event, and there will be free printing demos on the Center’s antique presses.
