2024 Intersect: A Queer Arts Festival

Buffalo Pride Week is going to be one for the record books this year, thanks in part to the over-the-top event, Intersect: A Queer Arts Festival. Not only will this event, held during Buffalo’s only alternative pride festival, be a rager filled with an extensive line-up of music acts, there will also be plenty of other LGBTQIA+ friendly acts and entertainment to enjoy.

On Saturday, June 1, starting at 2pm, two blocks of Allen Street – from Franklin to Main Street – will be closed off to automobile traffic, to ensure that this uniquely diverse celebration will be safely accommodating to artists, vendors, performers, and visitors.

Attendees to the one-day festival can look forward to family-friendly cultural curiosities such as art vendors, a sober safe space, kids activities, live art creation, installations, and a star-studded stage with performances by Buffalo’s singular queer talent. An extensive Pride vendor market will be a fantastic finishing touch on the romping Allentown escapade.
