2024 Sunset at the Stables @ Knox Farms State Park

Every summer, throughout the month of July, 42 North hosts a series of Friday evening concerts. The live music series, called Sunset at the Stables, features some of the region’s hottest bands, playing at one of the area’s most scenic venues – Knox Farms State Park.

“This concert series is all about introducing folks to original music,” said event producer and 42 North Brewery Founder, John Cimperman, who recently opened a brew pub in the heart of downtown Buffalo. “As in year’s past, we have a great lineup of regional musicians and can’t wait for everyone to experience some great music down on the farm.”

Needless to say, Cimperman and his 42 North team have done a lot for Buffalo, and for Western New York by investing their hearts and souls into their projects. Sunset at the Stables is no different. Funds raised through this music series help The Friends of Knox Farm State Park to maintain the grounds of the State Park, including the historic structures located at the site. Sunset at the Stables is a great way to take it all in, while listening to some fantastic tunes.

Following is the line-up of musicians:

Sunset at the Stables will kick things off on Friday, July 5th with the indie Americana sounds of Rochester based, Public Water Supply. Public Water Supply has gained a strong following in Western New York and will bring its lively show down to Knox Farm.

On Friday, July 12th, Sunset at the Stables welcomes Johnny Hart & The Mess for the first time to Sunset at the Stables. Johnny Hart & the Mess, the pride of South Buffalo, will bring their energy and original rock sounds to the park.

Week three of the series brings back the Leroy Townes Band. Leroy and the band have taken the stage at every Borderland Festival and packed the house venues across the region.

Finally, to wrap up the music series, Sunset at the Stables is bringing back the ever-popular PA Line. PA Line prides itself on ‘true grit’ Americana, an uptempo blend of grassroots and soul.

Guests to Knox Farms State Park during the performances will have access to food and beverages from 42 North Brewing Company, 1911 Cider, Rosie’s Handcrafted Ice Cream, and some of Buffalo’s most popular food trucks. They will also have a chance to stroll around one of the most picturesque settings to be found anywhere in the US.

July is just around the corner, believe it or not. So be sure to snag your tickets sooner rather than later. Following are all of the details that you will need, to jump on this incredible bandwagon of entertainment.
