Endeavor Health is proposing a new behavioral health center at the corner of Broadway and Goodyear on the East Side. The two-story building will include 16,000 sq.ft. of space and surface parking for 45 cars.
The center will replace Endeavor Health’s existing facility located at 1131 Broadway which is outdated, undersized, and in need of substantial repair to continue in useful service to the community. Endeavor’s current facility provides 41,995 treatment visits per year with 2,870 adults.
The new facility will have large and small group therapy rooms, offices for counseling services and administration to support behavioral health intake services, outpatient services, and personalized and group recovery programs. Preliminary plans include primary care exam space as well as kitchen and laundry facilities that will help provide additional supportive and therapeutic opportunities.
Endeavor is proposing to purchase vacant lots at 1420, 1424, 1428, 1430 Broadway and 16, 18, 22 Goodyear from the City. A one-story brick warehouse to be purchased from a private owner at 12 Goodyear would be demolished. Kideney Architects designed the $7.5 million project.
