The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System has released its annual list of the most popular books read by its patrons. The list is broken down into a number of reader categories, including Most Requested, Young Adult/Teen, and People’s Choice. Each year, this list gives us an interesting glimpse, and perspective, into the literature interests of Western New Yorkers, no matter their age.
“The list represents the borrowing habits of over 400,000 library cardholders of all ages who use the 37 local libraries and mobile services. The list includes the most popular (determined by the number of checkouts) and most requested books, along with the top downloaded eBooks and eAudioBooks in Erie County this past year.” – The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System
