Buffalo hits another record high temperature

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo has hit yet another record high temperature today. The National Weather Service has reported 72 degrees for Mar. 4, nine degrees higher than the last record set in 1974.

Last Tuesday, Feb. 27, Buffalo reached a record of 68 degrees. The previous record that day was 64 degrees, set in 2000.

The heat is expected to continue into Tuesday, possibly reaching another record. However, a cold front starting Tuesday night will lower the temperatures Wednesday and Thursday.
