BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo Airport reached 68 degrees on Tuesday, setting a new record high temperature for Feb. 27 in Buffalo, the National Weather Service announced.
The previous record for this date in Buffalo was 64 degrees, which was set in 2000.
While the warmth has certainly been felt around Western New York, it won’t last for very long. Temperatures are expected to drop significantly Wednesday, with rain transitioning to snow during the late afternoon.
