BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo woman has been sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for fatally shooting another woman in the city’s LaSalle neighborhood in 2022, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday.

31-year-old Jasmine Craig shot and killed 30-year-old Lameshea Sanders outside of her home on Berkshire Avenue near Parkridge Avenue just after 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 22, 2022. Sanders died at the scene.

Craig was found guilty of one count of second-degree murder in January after a four-day, non-jury trial.
