Casting Buffalo holding “Actors Expo” in August

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Silver screen dreams may be in reach for some of Buffalo’s local actors.

Casting Buffalo is putting on an event this summer to help aspiring talent move up and make themselves known — the Casting Buffalo Actors Expo.

Taking place at The Atrium at Rich’s on August 3 from Noon until 7 p.m., the event will have dozens of local vendors and exhibitors. Anyone interested in the industry can come for career advice from acting and vocal coaches, headshots, and seminars, among other opportunities.

The event itself will be hosted by Andrew Lewis Caldwell (“How I Met Your Mother,” “iZombie”) and feature a Q&A session with actor Stephen McKinley Henderson (Civil War, Dune, Lady Bird).

Tickets for the Casting Buffalo Actors Expo are $40 for general admission and $25 for students with a valid ID. They can be purchased here.
