40-year-old Anthony Rydzewski faces a slew of charges following the February incident.

Hamburg police said Rydzewski’s vehicle was traveling “at an excessively high rate of speed” on Route 5 at Lakeview Road when he collided with Zuhlke’s car on February 28. She was 37.

Rydzewski initially indicated he would cooperate with the investigation but ended up fleeing to Pennsylvania, according to police.

He was found there and charged with second-degree manslaughter, reckless driving, and speeding.

Rydzewski is currently being held in Erie County without bail.
