Construction Watch: Symphony Row

It has been a long wait but Severyn Development’s four-unit townhouse project at 390 Jersey Street is underway.  Severyn Development’s plans for the site underwent a number of changes in order to placate neighbor concerns over design and parking.  Ultimately a design by HHL Architects gained approval by the Planning Board.

The townhouses, at 15th and Jersey streets near Kleinhans, feature rear access driveway and two-car garages; front porches and landscaping to provide a welcoming street presence; first floor limestone, cedar siding and black French doors to access Juliet balconies; and, rooftop sun terraces. Work is expected to be completed early next year.

Severyn Development is a family-owned and operated custom home building company started by Bill Severyn and his two sons, Alex and William.  They are currently developing a patio home community in Alden and have a number of projects planned or underway in the city centered around the Oxford Triangle neighborhood.
