Work on The Lawrence, a Fruit Belt apartment building, is underway. Symphony Property Management is building the 132-unit apartment project on a site that fronts both Michigan Avenue and Maple Street at the edge of the Medical Campus.
The $25 million project consists of four stories on Maple Street and five stories on Michigan Avenue designed by Stieglitz Snyder Architecture. Seventy-eight parking spaces are proposed in an enclosed garage on the ground floor. The first floor will have a fitness center and offices for the building manager. There will be lobbies on both Michigan Avenue and Maple Street.
