ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — It was good vibes Tuesday night at Drake’s concert in Buffalo.
He noticed a fan in the audience who had a sign that said “Beat stage four cancer just in time for drake #godsplan,” then gave the woman $25,000.
Drake played his first of two shows at KeyBank Center on Tuesday night, and will play a second show on Wednesday night.
The rapper has donated this amount to fans multiple times at shows, including to a Tampa nurse earlier in February and to a Miami high school in 2018.
Drake’s fondness for Buffalo has been well-documented, with his most recent album, For All The Dogs, containing a reference to Walden Galleria. In his 2021 album Certified Lover Boy, he referenced to a show he played at Daemen College in 2009.
