Explosion, fire damages 3 homes in Niagara Falls

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Three homes on 20th Street in Niagara Falls were damaged following an explosion and house fire on Wednesday night, according to officials from National Fuel.

The explosion and fire occurred at 820 20th St. around 5:30 p.m. Adjacent homes located at 824 and 816 20th St. also sustained damage.

National Fuel said in a statement that the situation has been made safe and the fire is out. There were no reported injuries. Crews are remaining on site with first responders from the Niagara Falls Fire Department.

The incident remains under investigation.
