Free rabies vaccine drive-thrus for cats and dogs coming this May

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two free rabies vaccine clinics for pets, run by The Erie County Department of Health, are coming to Erie County this May.

Both drive-thrus will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The first event will take place May 11 at the Town of Tonawanda Highway Garage and the second event will be on May 18 at Buffalo Public School 84.

Pet owners will be able to bring their cats, dogs, and/or ferrets to the clinics without leaving their cars, they only ask that the animals be restrained and that they bring no more than three.

Pets must be three months of age or older to be eligible. Appointments are required and you can register here.
