Inaugural Allentown Flea

There’s a new monthly flea market coming to Buffalo, thanks in part to the efforts of Mickey Harmon from Pine Apple Company. The response to the new flea market series has been so overwhelming, that the vendor slots have already been booked for the summer.

I caught up with Harmon to discuss his latest venture, and he had this to say:

As someone who’s strived to make Allentown a destination for more than just bars and restaurants, I created a monthly flea market graciously sponsored and hosted by 26. Every third Saturday from May 18 – September 21 we’ll host about 12-15 vendors in the parking lot behind 26 (Twentysixallen) on North Pearl and Allen Streets. The event runs from 11-4 each date and I’m encouraging visitors to explore the entire neighborhood as well as the Flea. As a business owner for over 7 years in Allentown, and the person responsible for First Friday Gallery Walk, it’s so important to remind folks that we’ve got shops, art galleries, small parks, cafés and plenty of historical places to explore in the neighborhood. With every single storefront now occupied – which hasn’t happened since we opened Pine Apple Company at 65 Allen – and the street construction now complete, there’s never been a better summer to come get reacquainted with our most densely packed and in my opinion most beautiful neighborhood!

Flea Schedule for 2024:

Saturday, May 18th 11am-4pm

Saturday, June 22nd 11am-4pm

Saturday, July 20th 11am-4pm

Saturday, August 17th 11am-4pm

Saturday, September 21st 11am-4pm
