JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Jamestown man is facing four counts of endangering the welfare of a child after police said children were found sleeping near human and animal feces.
Jamestown officers responded to an address on the city’s west side on Monday morning, shortly before 4 a.m. There, 23-year-old Jeremy Rogers was found with four children.
“Jeremy was severely intoxicated and the house was in deplorable living conditions,” Jamestown police said.
Rogers was taken to the city jail without further incident and Child Protection Services was contacted. In addition to this, police said the apartment was condemned after the investigation concluded.
