Kitten season has Ten Lives Club looking for fosters

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Ten Lives Club is in the midst of “kitten season,” and this year, they’ve got a heavy load on their hands.

Kimberly LaRussa, public relations manager for the shelter, said they have more than 400 kittens and mother cats in their care right now. They’re looking for individuals, families, and even businesses to foster these animals.

Fostering a cat gives it a temporary home until a permanent one can be found. Foster parents also get first pick on adopting cats in their care.

Ten Lives Club is having a garage sale and chicken barbecue event this weekend, giving potential foster parents a chance to meet some of the cats.

Ten Lives Club’s event calendar can be found here. To learn more, watch the video above and click/tap here.
