Milling and paving underway on West Ferry Street

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Drivers utilizing W. Ferry Street in Buffalo should plan for extra time.

The city’s Department of Public Works says a street milling and paving project is underway on West Ferry between Main Street and Richmond Avenue, which could cause lane restrictions. It’s part of $10 million in residential paving projects the city will work on during construction season.

“The West Ferry paving project is the first major residential paving project of this season,” a notice from the City of Buffalo said.

The work is expected to be wrapped up by early next week, depending on the weather.
