Niagara Street Vintage Collective

Niagara Street is the perfect fit for a shop featuring vintage clothing and home accessories. When Amanda Ferreira, Nikki McIntosh, and Shawn Peters chose to open Niagara Street Vintage Collective at 1250 Niagara Street, they did so because of the growing number of unique businesses on the street, and the limitless potential that is finally being realized.

Now, visitors to Niagara Street will be able to source hand-picked vintage items, including clothing, home decor, kitchenware, and barware.

As for the foundation of Niagara Street Vintage Collective, the idea was to combine the resources and talents of the owners, who each contributed immensely to the project. Amanda Ferreira of Rust Belt Threads, Nikki McIntosh of Wise Apple Vintage, and Shawn Peters of Compostthis, all have a hand in the way that the Collective operates, because they each bring unique abilities to the table.

“We each specialize in different areas of vintage which compliments the others nicely,” said McIntosh. “Amanda has a great eye for vintage clothes, Shawn gravitates toward home décor in earthy neutrals and I’m really drawn to everything colorful – it makes for a great mix of styles and pretty much guarantees shoppers will find something that fits their aesthetic.”

When shopping at Niagara Street Vintage Collective, people will also be able to have direct access to the Collective’s co-tenant, Daddy’s Plants, a tropical and desert indoor plant emporium

“House plants and vintage just feel like such a perfect pairing,” said Daddy’s Plants owner, Billy Sandora. “Customers can find unique plants and one-of-a-kind vintage pieces all in one place, making this the perfect spot to find something special you can’t find anywhere else.”

“We’re so excited to share a building with such a wonderful group of small businesses,” said Peters. “This area of Niagara Street has so much to offer and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

The building is also home to The Buffalo Pelvic Health & Acupuncture Clinic, Wildroot Floral and Mortalis Brewing Company.
