A beach bar on the river? Yes! Papi Grande’s is planning a “waterfront + beach bar” at 301 Ohio Street. The Mexican restaurant located at 4276 Maple Road in Amherst announced its plans for a city location on Facebook. 301 Ohio Street is a five-story mixed-use building located across from RiverWorks.
The Ohio Street Papi Grande’s will be able to accommodate over 1,000 patrons both inside and out and features a property-long boat dock. The commercial space at 301 had been occupied by marketing agency Clevermethod who gave up the space after deciding to allow its workforce to work remotely.
Ellicott Development’s 301 Ohio 0pened in 2016 and also includes 21 apartments. The developer has talked about plans for at least two more buildings south of the complex along the river and additional development on the east side of Ohio Street.
