Pedestrian killed after being hit by vehicle in Town of Concord

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a pickup truck Friday night in the Town of Concord, New York State Police announced.

Police said a Ford F250 was traveling southbound just after 8 p.m. on Springville Boston Road when it struck Boston, New York resident Barney N. Spors, 68, who was “lying in the roadway.” Spors was pronounced deceased at the scene.

An investigation into the incident remains ongoing, and no charges were announced by police.
