Red Cross assisting 10 people after Buffalo Butler Avenue Fire

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Ten people are being assisted by the Red Cross after a fire burnt through their Butler Avenue home early Sunday morning.

The fire started in the 57 Butler Avenue attic just before 1:30 a.m. while residents were home, according to a Buffalo Fire spokesperson.

Fire officials peg the damage at $150,000.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
