Road closures for Buffalo Pride parade

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Rainbows adorn Elmwood Avenue in preparation for the Buffalo Pride parade Sunday, but motorists should be prepared as well.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 2, Elmwood Ave. will be closed to all traffic from Iroquois Dr. to Virginia St. The parade begins at 11 a.m. on the corner of Elmwood and Forest and ends at Allen St.

Buffalo police say this closure will impact many major East and West roadways in Buffalo and urges motorists to avoid the area.

The pride festival begins in Canalside following the parade.
