BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Popular fast food chain Shake Shack is coming to Western New York.
The restaurant best known for its burgers and namesake milkshakes will open a location next year in Amherst’s The Boulevard plaza off of Niagara Falls Boulevard near I-290. A more detailed timeline beyond the location opening in 2025 was not specified in a release.
Currently, the closest Shake Shack location to Buffalo is inside a rest stop on I-90 between Syracuse and Rochester. Fans of the chain would have to drive to Cleveland for the closest brick-and-mortar location.
