Shaq bringing DJ Diesel show to Buffalo RiverWorks

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — DJ Diesel, better known as Shaquille O’Neal, is coming to Buffalo for a show this summer.

The show is set for 6 p.m. on Aug. 17 at Buffalo RiverWorks.

Shaq’s Bass All-Stars at Buffalo Riverworks will feature special guests Trivecta, Levity, Gorillat, and Stoned Level. You must be at least 16 years old to attend solo. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Though most known for his successful NBA career, the 7-foot-1 basketball player got his start in music at just 14 years old. He bought his first set of turntables after being inspired by the hip-hop group Public Enemy. Seven years later, his rap album “Shaq Diesel” reached No. 25 on the Billboard 100, making him the only athlete ever with a platinum-selling album.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at noon here. Presale tickets will be available at 10 a.m.
