Shop Co-op Buffalo @ The Healing Grounds

Worker owned cooperatives are the wave of the future. They have also been an integral component to building strong neighborhoods in the past. As of late, we’ve been seeing a number of new cooperatives pop up around the city, thanks in part to the efforts of Cooperation Buffalo.

On Thursday, December 8, from 5pm to 8pm, the community is invited to attend Shop Co-op Buffalo at The Healing Grounds on Grant Street. The event will feature shopping and gift-giving opportunities from a number of of cooperatives in Buffalo. Some of these cooperatives are already well-known and established businesses, while others are relatively new to Buffalo.

Not only is this a chance to discover a wide array of products and services, it’s also a chance to learn about the important world of cooperatives, and how they can change the face of Buffalo. And for anyone that has been considering embarking upon a new democratic way of conducting business, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the small, Buffalo-rooted cooperatives that are paving the way towards a brighter, and happier future for worker-owner enterprises, and their customers.

Join the co-op movement today!

The event will take place at The Healing Grounds – 218 Grant Street from 5-8pm. Shop deals from local worker owned cooperatives, and mix and mingle with the co-op community. Light refreshments will be provided.  Masks are encouraged but not required indoors.
