BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara Falls man is facing charges after New York State Police said four rifles and two handguns without serial numbers were found.
On Wednesday, Town of Niagara police were investigating a complaint about a suspicious property at the Expressway Village in the Town of Niagara when they said they located multiple ghost guns. In addition to the weapons, police also said they found body armor, a firearm silencer and a high-capacity magazine.
As a result, Joshua McClelland, 42, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of an assault weapon, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and a single count each of unlawful purchase of body armor and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
After being arrested, McClelland was taken to the Niagara County Jail to be arraigned.
