Spa owner accused of using Rochester & Lockport spas for prostitution ring

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WROC) — The former owner of a spa in Rochester has been accused of running a prostitution ring.

According to a criminal complaint filed in federal court, Linian Song was the former owner of S Wellness Spa on South Clinton Avenue. It was alleged that prostitution and commercial sex acts have taken place at her current business, New Elegant Shiatsu on S. Transit Road in Lockport.

Investigators said both spas are on backpage-type websites advertising sexual services. They added that each of the locations has customer reviews alleging sexual acts taking place at these businesses.

It was alleged Song transported employees and unidentified females from both New Elegant Shiatsu and S Wellness Spa, among other locations, for illegal activities. Investigators said some of these employees were from China and entered the U.S. illegally.

Song has been charged with interstate and foreign travel or transportation in aid of racketeering enterprises.
