Spring Fling Equinox Party @ The Niagara Frontier Food Terminal

The upcoming Spring Fling Equinox Party will be the perfect way to get familiar with the ever-morphing Niagara Frontier Food Terminal (NFFT). In recent years, there has been a concerted effort to reimagine and revitalize this complex, which is now home to permanent and visiting artists and artisans, clothiers, mineralists, florists, tarot readers, tattooists, stylists, and others who are contributing to the rebirth of the NFFT.

“The Spring Fling Equinox Party is all about celebrating the coming of spring after a long winter,” said Saira Siddiqui, founder of SAIRA Creative. “We will have a variety of vendors and businesses offering spring themed items, and we’ve asked the artists to keep their doors open for open studios that evening as well. In addition, I’ll be celebrating my 5-year business-versary which just passed in early March, and I’m undergoing a big rebrand (formerly The Cosmic Wanderer Collective – now known as SAIRA Studios). So, there will be some champagne and snacks to celebrate all that as well!”

Come meet the artists and artisans, as well as pop-up participants, that are all rallying around the NFFT.

Here’s a vendor lineup, to date, is as follows:

Plants by Leaf & Loam

Dried Floral Arrangements by Nickel City Florals

Mead tastings by Wildflower Meadery

Vintage clothing by The Lucky Wing Vintage

Reiki by Your Health Root

Dreamcatchers and mini massages by Danielle

Hair shimmers, art gallery viewings, and handmade drum cymbal jewelry at SAIRA Studios (the first 10 people to the party get FREE shimmers!)

The Nickel Plate

Numerous other artists on the wing have been invited to participate in open studios and engage with folks

The event is on Thursday, March 21st – 2 days after the official first day of spring. It’s from 5pm to 9pm at the Niagara Frontier Food Terminal (NFFT), 1500 Clinton Street – Building 177, 2nd floor.

The NFFT is home to Gro-operative (a worker-owned vertical farming cooperative), Chateau Buffalo, Snowy Owl Kombucha, The Nickel Plate, Wildflower Meadery, Fresh Fix, The Sausage Maker Store, The Goodness Project, Arnies International Flowers, Buffalo Computer Recycling, Lester Altman Produce, and T&T Trading – Buy the Pallet, among others.
