The Witches Ball is back at The Statler and ready to take you on a “Highway to Hell” on Saturday, October 29 from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. so you can Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop).
Buffalo’s best immersive Halloween experience features dozens of the most ‘hardcore’ local artists, actors, drag queens, musicians, DJs, psychics, mediums, and more!
This event will start as a quiet riot and end in a blaze of glory! Dance the night away, see your future, voyeur the macabre, and let the music shake you all night long. It’d be hell to miss it! Are you ready to enter the danger zone? We promise to rock you like a hurricane. So, grab your motley crew because this is one event you don’t want to miss.
Leviathan Room
There’s no turning back when you enter at the Genesee Street doors, across from the Convention Center. Our Dragerson sisters will put a spell on you as you enter the main hallway, where The Pioneer 360 video booth will spin you right ‘round, and DJs Charlie Abbott, 3P0, and Nate Howell will get you moving and grooving into the night. The Rev. Arlowe Price from The Carnival Apocalypse is back from a brief hiatus to the netherworlds to haunt our halls and your nightmares— we promise, you will be horrified by what you see but you won’t be able to look away.
Sinners Square
This year, we are turning our Center Courtyard over to the Living Dead…Girls, “Gather all ye ghosts and ghouls, there is fun to be had with us!” Stop by and allow the hosts of a Living Dead Girls: A True Crime & Unsolved Mysteries Podcast to send you off on a spooktacular Scavenger Haunt, that will keep you on the lookout for fabulous and creative costumes, and attractions at the ball, like stilt walkers, LED Hoopers, magicians, and more. Bring back proof of these visuals and you may be rewarded with a prize (while they last).
Internationally acclaimed choreographer Andrew Delo recently returned to WNY after more than a decade abroad, and has created some special…and haunting…. dancing surprises which will be presented throughout the evening.
He is joined by area dancers Arjumand Ali, Sidney Bowers, Alec Humphreys, Alisia Humphreys, Katy Maddalina, and Gabby Petricca, from UB’s Zodiaque Dance Company, Eugenia’s Dance Studio, and Clark Academy of the Performing Arts.
Buckle up and stand back (or join in, if you’re invited), as the dance floor is consumed by mystery, suspense, leaps, romance, turns, and wildly gyrating pelvises.
Walk our Black Carpet and have your photo taken to be automatically entered into our Virtual Costume Contest. All photos will be posted after the event to our Facebook Page. Winners will be selected and win cool local prizes and experiences.
Stop by the BFLO Hydration tent to regroup, top yourself off, and prevent a wicked hangover!
Route 666 Room
In the Golden Ballroom, DJ Nicholas Picholas will get the room bouncing with banging tunes and squealing guitar solos all night long, as well as projecting vintage Music Videos and Horror Movies. Some special guests will make appearances through out the night, including the gorgeous and hypnotic queens and king in Dragged Out with Jayme Coxx.feat. Fishnell Twain, Christian Gaye, and Summer Slayer.
The Mural Installation by Spicy is back and more rad than ever. Four artists have been tasked to create original works of art exclusively for The Witches Ball. Snap a pic of yourself in front of this interactive exhibit and tag your friends and local artists: Kelly Kresconko (@kellykresconkoart) and Avanna Duff (@parahmohr), Laike Palermo (@laike_palermo), and Eugene Sims (@eugenesims).

The Devil’s Lair
Across the way in our Terrace Ballroom will be El Diablo and the Band of Demons followed by THAT ‘80s Hair Band. The room will also feature a dazzling floor show with the sassy and seductive neo-burlesque troupe, Eye Candy Vixens.
THAT 80’s Hair Band brings audiences back to the 80’s like no other band. The longest-running and original tribute to the 80’s in Buffalo NY, the band was voted Buffalo’s Best Hard Rock Band 8xs at Buffalo Music and People’s Choice Awards. The band features Robert Neubauer on vocals, Brandon Jarczewski (Lead Guitar), Rob Mann (Guitar), Joe Que (Bass), Jon White (Drums). The 80’s Hair Band also brings one of the biggest light shows in Buffalo. So come and relive those glory days!
El Diablo and The Band of Demons takes you on a journey into the musical netherworld, for a devilishly fun ride!! Follow the story of the concubine, descending into darkness before coming back to life!! The 9-piece group includes Jon White on drums, Joe Que on bass, Rob Mann and Brandon Jarczewski on guitar, Pedro Rodriguez on percussion, Evan Laedke on keys, and featuring Pete Caroccio as the fiddle player, Alexis Millace as the concubine, and Elias Benavides as El Diablo.

Upstairs, dance the night away with the SE2 Silent Disco featuring a DJ and three dedicated channels bursting with the best beats, all the while enjoying the views from above.
Also on the mezzanine level will be the Psychic Lounge presented by supernatural historian & author, Mason Winfield, a treasured feature of the annual Witches Ball. Sneak away from the festive mayhem to catch a moment of counsel from the other world. A handful of readers and psychic mediums will be waiting for you to offer their insights. It will be a perfect night for a visit with the other side.
