Tiny Thai’s Thai Dumpling Classes @ Food E

People tend to think of Tiny Thai as the adorable food truck that treks around the city, serving up delicious Thai cuisine, at places like 450 Rhode Island Street in the Five Points neighborhood. But Tiny Thai is a lot more than just a yummy food truck.

One of Tiny Thai’s latest ventures is providing Thai dumpling cooking classes at its commissary kitchen at Food E over on Chandler Street. For anyone who has ever wanted to learn how to make the delicate and very delicious Chor Muang (Thai dumplings), this is your chance. And not only will the cooking lesson provide the necessary tools to get the job done, participants will also get snacks, drinks, and ten dumplings to take home. Not to mention all of the great memories.

Originally served to Thai nobility, their vivid purple color comes from the butterfly pea blossom flower and they require care in shaping each one by hand.

The 2-3 hour workshop is $55, and includes everything that you need to make the tasty treats, as well as some fascinating tips on Thai culture. Join Chef Kae Baramee of Tiny Thai for this amazing workshop, and come away with some expert tricks of the trade.
