Two local spas under investigation, accused of prostitution

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The operations of two local spas are under investigation after authorities said they broke up an alleged prostitution ring during raids on Tuesday.

Authorities are also investigating whether the massage parlors are fronts for human trafficking.

Cheektowaga police said they raided Little Foot Spa on Union Road early Tuesday where they said they found four women.

Authorities said the business was being used as an illegal massage parlor, where cash was allegedly traded for sex.

No charges have been made, but police said the investigation is ongoing and charges are expected.

On Tuesday evening, police said they also raided Four Seasons Spa on Broadway in Depew, where the business is also being investigated for prostitution.

Police told News 4 they are expecting to release more information Wednesday.
