Apartment Planned at 715 Main

Every unit counts.  The downtown residential market will grow by one apartment under plans prepared by architect Kathleen Kinan.  Avalon Development is planning to convert second floor offices at the rear of 715 Main Street to an approximately 1,000 sq.ft, one-bedroom apartment.

City Wine Merchant and office space will remain in the building’s first floor.  An entrance will be reestablished on E. Tupper Street to access a vestibule and stairs to the unit. Chris Jacobs’ Avalon Development purchased the building in 2008 and carried out an extensive renovation of the property including a new brick façade along Main Street.

The façade work requires approval by the Preservation Board which will review the project at its meeting this afternoon.
