Blasdell man accused of stabbing victim in neck at Cheektowaga hotel

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Blasdell man was arrested late Thursday night after he allegedly stabbed a victim in the neck at a Cheektowaga hotel, seriously injuring him, the Cheektowaga Police Department announced.

Police said 28-year-old Zachary Turner allegedly stabbed a 25-year-old male victim in the neck following a fight around 10:45 p.m. at the M Hotel on Walden Avenue.

Officers administered life-saving measures to the victim upon their arrival, and he was transported to ECMC where he is currently in critical condition, according to authorities.

Turner was charged with first-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned and is being held at the Erie County Holding Center.
