From a fitness bootcamp to Fallfest, the Central Terminal Restoration Corp (CTRC) is planning on hosting plenty of fun-filled events and activities on the grounds of the Central Terminal in 2024. Other events being held at the site, focused around the picturesque Lawn setting, will be the Central Terminal Car Show and the Summer Concert Series. All of the events will be be held from May through October.
“We are so excited to be expanding the community events held on the historic Lawn,” said Monica Pellegrino Faix, Executive Director of the Central Terminal Restoration Corp. “From live music to fitness bootcamp and cartoon movie nights, we have a little something for everyone this summer at the Terminal.”
Events at the Central Terminal include:
Health is Wealth Fitness Bootcamp – A 3-part fitness and cardio bootcamp lead by GCOPE Fitness. The series will be held on the Central Terminal Lawn from 9am to 10am on May 18th, June 22nd, and June 29th.
Central Terminal Car Show – Admire over 100 meticulously restored sport compact and muscle cars Sunday, June 30th from 10am to 5pm at the Central Terminal Car Show.
Movie Night – This year CTRC is hosting two movie nights at the Terminal. Join us July 29th for a taste of nostalgia with “The Goonies” and August 28th for an animated film that’s perfect for the little ones. More to be announced soon!
Summer Concert Series – After the tremendous enthusiasm from its audience last year, CTRC is excited to announce that our Summer Concert Series has been expanded to four sensational nights! Join CTRC on July 11th, July 18th, July 29th, and August 8th from 5pm to 8pm.
Shakespeare in the Park returns to the Central Terminal Friday, July 19th with a “Midsummer Night’s Tour.” from 7pm to 8:30pm.
5th Annual Back to School Giveaway hosted by Leg. Howard Johnson & CM Nowakowski.
Get geared up for new school year at our giveaway Saturday, August 17th from 9am to 12pm.
Fall Fest – Enjoy CTRC’s family-friendly Fall Fest Saturday, October 12th from 11am-3pm, featuring music, pumpkin decorating, photog areas, beer & wine vendors, and more.
Trunk or Treat hosted by Matt Urban Center – The tradition continues Tuesday, October 29th from 4pm to 6pm.
