BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man is now a Tops Monopoly “Rip It, Win It, Reach for the Stars” grand prize winner.
Tops says Dr. Eugene Ravenell is one of five grand prize winners, choosing to accept $15,000 for a trip to see the Northern Lights in Norway. He was presented his prize at the Tops on Amherst Street Wednesday morning.
Dr. Ravenell said he had the choice between the trip or $20,000 in food and gas. During the morning, he told News 4 “It still hasn’t sunken in yet.”
Tops says the game has resulted in more than 665,000 winners overall, with more prizes to be won.
