Construction Watch: Madden Center for Global Learning

The Madden Center for Global Learning has been completed at Canisius High School on Delaware Avenue. The 1,500 sq.ft. addition allows Canisius students to engage in cross-cultural activities and conversations across the world through both in-person and virtual experiences, including connecting with the global network of more than 2,300 fellow Jesuit schools.

The building and funding of the center was being supported by the largest gift in Canisius’ “Rich Tradition. Bold Vision.” capital campaign, of $2.5 million by Michael Madden. A South Buffalo native and 1967 Canisius graduate, Madden is founder of the BlackEagle Partners, LLC, a private equity investment firm. Uniland Development oversaw the project.
