Clean Mobility Buffalo is an alliance of like-missioned organizations that have banded together to implement an investment of $10 million in clean transportation improvements throughout the East Side, beginning with the revival of bike trails and the expansion of an e-bikeshare, sparking important conversations about equitable access.
The rubber will meet the road with the East Side Forward Expo happening on Saturday, March 16 at Northland Workforce Training Center from 11:30 am to 3 pm. This completely free event officially kicks off Clean Mobility Buffalo, welcoming members of the community to participate in family-friendly engagement booths, bike demos, workshops, raffles, and learn about projects in the works.
Clear crosswalks. Protected bike lanes and trails. Organized carpools. Safe places to wait for the bus. East of Main Street, where one in three households’ walks, bikes, or takes public transit to work, these essential elements of safe, reliable, and accessible infrastructure are getting the overdue attention they deserve.
