Man indicted on murder charge for fatal shooting in Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man has been indicted on a second-degree murder charge in connection with a fatal shooting in April in Buffalo’s Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Monday.

30-year-old Timé Thomas, Jr. has been charged. It is alleged that Thomas shot and killed 31-year-old Quentin Sims in the area of Young and Ashley streets in Buffalo around 8:50 p.m. on April 26. He allegedly shot Sims multiple times.

If convicted, he faces 25 years to life in prison. He is being held without bail and will return to court on Aug. 6.
