BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The University at Buffalo football team announced its finalized 2024 schedule Tuesday.
The Bulls’ season and home opener is slated for Aug. 29 against FCS school Lafayette, followed by a road game against SEC opponent Missouri. The team’s first MAC game will be Sept. 21 on the road against Northern Illinois.
This season will be the first of the Pete Lembo era at UB after the former South Carolina special teams coordinator was hired as the Bulls’ head coach in January. He takes over for Mo Linguist, who left Buffalo to take an assistant coaching position at Alabama.
UB is coming off a disappointing 3-9 season a year ago, and boasts the 11th-ranked recruiting class in the Mid-American Conference for 2024, according to 247 Sports.
